An Apology (A Lady Antebellum Addition)
Dearest Hobo followers,
I have something very important to share with you. Recently I did a post on 10 Albums I Never Get Bored Of. I must apologise because this list no longer stands as it is. It would appear there need to be some additions to it. I would like to hereby rename the post 13 Albums I Never Get Bored Of as there are 3 other albums that must grace this list with their presence.
Firstly Taylor Swift – Taylor Swift. It is the album she released before Fearless. A big deal was not made of it in the UK but recently I’ve been listening to it more than fearless. My favourite song is Picture To Burn – an amazing song that you can’t help but sing along to.
Secondly, Kerry Ellis – Anthems. See my other post for more info on this album but I am convinced that the word ‘boring’ will never be used to describe this album….ever!
Lastly, Lady Antebellum – Need You Now. This band is a very recent discovery of mine, recommended by my bungalowmate. It is SUCH a good road-trip album with numerous sing-along numbers. My favourite songs on the album are Need You Now (their title track released for the UK chart and currently being played on Heart radio stations around the country), American Honey and Perfect Day. But there are now skippable songs and the album just rings of everything that I love about music. Their sound is very much a mixture of country, pop and rock. I LOVE it!
Thank you very much for reading and, again, many apologies for the change of heart. After all, I am female, I’m allowed to change my mind (a lot!).
Have any albums caught your eye recently?
MH xXx
