Being an avid fan of anything musical and cheesey, you may be surprised to hear that I am definitely NOT a Jonas Brothers
(Jo Bros) fan nor did I enjoy Camp Rock (Extended Rock Star Edition)
(although I do kind of like the theme song). So when I traded Demi Lovato’s solo album ‘Don’t Forget
‘ for Kate Voegele’s second album, ‘A Fine Mess
‘, for a week, I was prepared to be disappointed. However, the lack of disappointment was, in itself, disappointing. The album was amazing, even though it was co-written by the Jo Bros!! She can really belt out a tune and songs like ‘LaLa Land’ perfectly make fun of the lives of many of her co-stars and famous friends.A month after returning the album, and swapping it back for my beloved Kate Voegele, I googled her to see if she was touring or recording something else and…lo and behold…she had released another album…a better album. ‘Here We Go Again
‘ was not written by the Jo Bros and perhaps that’s why I enjoyed it so much! Her voice suits the songs and on her second album, she explores various other genres and she smashes them!
